S.H.I.N.E. on the Sisterhood reflects my commitment to the continued strength of Delta’s leadership and the care we take in shaping its future. I look forward to building on the strong standards already in place while supporting ways to further recognize and encourage leadership potential across the region.
I value a process that honors traditional measures of service while also embracing a broader view of leadership. So many sorors contribute in meaningful, consistent, and sometimes less visible ways. When those contributions are recognized alongside established criteria, we not only expand the leadership bench, we strengthen it.
A little encouragement can go a long way in helping more qualified voices step forward. I believe this can be accomplished with an increased focus on messaging that affirms leadership readiness and encourages more sorors to consider higher levels of service.
Let’s S.H.I.N.E. on the Sisterhood that upholds Delta’s standards of excellence while broadening our approach in a thoughtful and well-rounded way.

— Seeing Potential
The expression of skills and abilities often varies; I seek to encourage the evaluation of leadership readiness through multiple lenses, ensuring leadership capacity that expresses itself in less traditional ways is recognized, assessed, and supported.

— Honoring Journeys
Although change is rapidly occurring, the rich history of service and strategic approaches within our sorority is paramount to our success; thus, I will uphold the established paths that have long defined our standards and informed our selections.

— Inviting Innovation
I look to amplify unique approaches and visions for expanded opportunities and efficiencies. When these attributes are considered alongside established criteria, the leadership bench is both broadened and strengthened.

— Nurturing Leadership
There is a depth of leadership talent that would benefit our organization when affirmed and supported in developing their readiness for leadership and service. I aim to encourage and help prepare sorors for leadership opportunities, especially collegiate sorors.

— Elevating Voices
I intend to develop messaging that emphasizes sorors’ leadership capacity and encourages thoughtful consideration of higher service toward capable sorors hesitant to pursue leadership roles.
